I just bought some Neewer camera lenses that I can attach to my iPhone to help improve the photos and videos I take for YouTube. I picked up a Neewer phone cage for my iPhone 15 Pro, along with an 18mm, 105mm, and a huge 2x probe lens, all of which screw onto the cage. The big advantage of the 18mm lens is that it will allow me to move the phone much closer to me when I record talking head shots, which in turn will move the shotgun microphone closer, helping to improve the audio quality. I used to use a lavalier microphone, but wrecked too many of those (snagging the wire on something, or pulling on it too hard moving around). And while I have a wireless one, I often don’t use it because I forget to charge it and such.
Anyway, these new lenses will be a lot of fun to use going forward, especially the long probe lens. You can get some amazing close up shots with that lens in places you could never get a normal phone or camera.
