A quick overview of the completed 1’x5’ N scale switching layout. The final structures are in place, the track is ballasted, ground foam and static grass applied, and various layout details have been added. I also added a velcro version of the track plan to the underside of the layout lid as well as to my car cards. So, I shuffle the cards and stick them to the velcro track plan, then move the cars around the layout to match the position of the cars on the track plan. The more cars that are on the layout the harder this becomes given the length of some of the tracks. With 5-7 cars this is pretty easy, but a couple of additional cars turns this into a harder puzzle to solve when operating.
The next video in the series will show how I wrapped up the project.
